sounds awesome, nice price too. you can't really go wrong with the systems today... you have a pretty nice setup. the hard drive seems to be on the low capacity end but if you dont need the space, then you're all set.

Ya i had the option of updating the harddrive but in my experince building and using desktops. Larger harddrives break more often and tend to be a little slower. I wanted the smallest i could get for free and i'll use a 500g external for storage and such. My only real grip so far has been the non option for xp over vista i really don't like vista its such a freakin hog. but at least i got the 64bit version so i can through some more ram at it if 4 gig's isn't enough for autocad inventor

Does anyone know if the 6 series will come with the remote control that the 5 series did. HP's websites makes no mention of it in the overview but the amazon website does. The amazon version was of course a bundled computer the dv6t-1030us.

Why don't you just buy a copy of Windows XP and not the vista and just install the xp on your new system???

You should get bluetooth. Its a pain to get after you have the laptop.
