    What function do the extra 3-pins of S-video connector serve?

    I have this snapshot of dv6000 series service manual, and it shows different values for all the pins of S-video. All I know is that a 4-pin plug fits in my 7-pin outlet and works fine, so I was curious about the other three pins and added function they serve??? Can we squeeze some extra functioanlity from the other 3 pins?
