Am looking for a decent looking, not-so-expensive, headset light/portable enough with a mic for voice chats and online gaming conversation. Which one is a good option??

Just wondering what kind of headset you use with your notebook??

Logitech would probably be your best bet when it comes to quality and price.... Plantronics is better quality but can be a bit costly.

How much are you looking to spend?
What type of head set do you want(in ear, on ear, around ear)?
And do you want noise canceling?

~$20-40. Nioise cancelling is good but not important, and since i want to be able to wear it laying down on my side, so i guess in ear in only option. just want a mic on it.

Is there any headset for PC that has the mic on the wire iteself like it does in case of cell-phone headsets where the mic is attached to the wire that holds the ear-phone at the end.......... I dont want a headset with a boom in front of my face all the time anyway. I wonder if the headsets that they sell for iPhone would work with PC with an adapter or something,,, if such adapter exists....

    I use SteelSound 5Hv2's that I got off Woot for $30. They're $99 retail.
