Hey guys I received my E14 yesterday and I was curious as to what a good temp is when idling or gaming?
    I have i5-m430
    4 gig
    and the rest is basic.

Right now im running zune software, picasa is scanning and chrome is on and I ave 42 and 43 for the CPU. However when I play Crysis my GPU goes up to 73 and CPU around 50 and the notebook gets extremely hot but thats OK temps right? Thanks alot! Much appreciated!

those are really bad temps. I am surprised it didn't melt! You should apply new thermal paste and put on a notebook cooler! :)

Those are good temps. stop worrying and game on!

I am idling around 50C on I7-720 and on load it shoots up to 70-80.

I guess HP did a good job with the cooling, only problem now is a fix for the cpu whine, im loving this notebook though. A sweet sport for performance and portability.
