Ok so I got my DV6000 only to discover that it is WAYYYY TOO BIG for me. I didn't know that it would be that big. I'm thinking of returning it and getting the DV2000 instead. I ordered from HP.com.

Now here's the "problem." I kind of need a laptop currently. I would like to minimize the time that I am without a laptop.
    So should I:
    1) order the new laptop and THEN return the old one? OR
    2) call them for an exchange and see if they can ship one to me while I'm waiting to send out the old one. I know they might charge my credit card until they get the old one - that's ok with me.

    appreciate the feedback.

Call them and see your options... probably closer to option 2.

Yes, I would agree. Telehone HP and see what your options are. You should mention that you need to have a notebook for the moment, so they understand your situation.
