HP Compaq 8510W Mobile Workstation aka the laptop that businesses that don't use Dell Latitudes/Precisions use.
-
Aren't these from 2007 or so? Any info on the spec?
-
Why does it matter? The government is just like any other business when it comes to computers. It's not like Obama has a secret fab under the White House that pumps out top-secret Intel chips for his computers. ...Or does he?

"Both Biden and Clinton appear to have different (possibly more secure?) models of HP notebooks than the laptop in the foreground. The foreground model could be an HP Elitebook 6930p, a 2008 business PC with the distinctive column of buttons on the right hand side of the keyboard. Later models in the Elitebook series appear to have tweaked the hinge colors a bit, however, which seems to rule those out."

6930p is totally different looking, it silver colored.
I'm not sure that would be 8510w either, model number looks like it's ending in b. 6715b or similar perhaps. Same era but little less powerful model. -
Looks like the Prez and company should look into some new hardware. Maybe some ultralights and a tablet or two. Dam! They are some clunky looking notebooks.
BTW, the coffee cups look like an accident waiting to happen. Could you imagine the Prez missing the kill shot on OBL because Hillary knocked over her tripple shot, extra hot skim Latte?

Missed the HDMI port
8510p could be close then. I wasn't paying attention to the wlan antenna lid either, so I picked up my 8510w to watch closer and managed to drop it on the floor. Looks like nothing is broken tho, I got lucky. >.<
What kind of Laptop does the White house use?
