    What kind of RAM does the 8510p use?

    I was under the impression that it used DDR2 667MHz RAM but when I ran CPU-Z it shows 333MHz. Why is this? The laptop came with 1 x 2GB stick.

    Without too much technical details, ddr2 667MHz is actually 2x333MHz and then rounded up from 666 to 667. Basically everything is okay :)

    You can get 800MHz memory too if it's cheaper. It is backwards compatible and should automatically run at 667MHz.
