    Sorry for this stupid question, but i just bought a second hand laptop from a friend of mine.
    Its a pavilion dv9000 (shown on the upper right hand side of the monitor)
    On a sticker under the CPU base, it says,
    HP product DV9500

    It also says on the same sticker, DV9612ca

    So what model of laptop do i have ? A DV9000, DV9500, or DV9612ca

    200Geg HD (120Geg + 80Geg)
    NVDA 7150Graphics
    17inch monitor

    *dv9000 overall model
    *dv9500 overall model
    *dv9600 specific model of dv9500
    *dv9612ca specific model of dv9600
    your laptop is from the dv9000 series, specifically a dv9600, and even more specifically, a dv9612ca
