What performance can I expect out of this?

I just received an HP/Compaq laptop and I'm curious as to what it would be able to run.

    Specs:
    Compaq Presario V3700
    Intel dual core T2370 @ 1.73 GHz
    2gb RAM
    NVIDIA 8400M GS
This video card is really interesting because it has a shared memory with the RAM (I think), memory size was 889mb or something. How would this affect the performance? I think the base memory is 128Mb.
    Windows Vista Home basic 32-bit
    14.1 inch widescreen display

So far I've only tried out CoD4, and it ran pretty well with 800x600 with some shadows and medium graphics.

I was wondering what kind of performance I can get with it on other games such as Oblivion, BioShock, etc (perhaps even Crysis? hopefully?)

Id say Oblivion at around medium, not sure about BioShock. From what I hear Crysis would be dipping into the 10-20s in framrates.

crysis on all low would work, maybe. the shared memory is nice for loading large maps so it doesnt keep using the hdd whilst gaming.

    Ty for the replies.
The biggest thing I've worried about with this is the processor as it is the t2000 series. Would the processor be a big disadvantage for this setup?

Yes it could use a better processor to be honest. A t2000 is only a CoreDuo. You might want a T5600 at the very least which is a Core2Duo. Core2Duo is a 64bit processor, CoreDuo is only a 32bit

Its called Turbocache. If the dedicated 128mb of memory runs out, it will start to use the system memory up to 889mb (depending on your RAM size).

All geforce 7 and 8 series come with this feature.
