    hi guys,
i got this new laptop yesterday.
i was really happy about this deal.

    here is the Configuration:
    Price $800
    hp Pavilion dv6120
    intel core due T2250
    1 GB RAM
    120 GB hard disk
    8X DVD R/RW
    integrated microphone and webcam.

but happines did not sustain so long because as soon as i opened it and started working on it, i found out that it gets heated very soon on left hand side of mouse and then it hurts your left hand while typing.
what do u think should i do????
    1)get my money back
2)or the problem may be just in this single piece and i may give a try to some another piece.

    thanks in anticipation.

I think this may be the worng forum for your question....but I would take it back for a replacement. That seems to me to be something that could cause other problems as well.

Take a look at the cooling guide. Also, you may want to use a program such as Notebook Hardware Control to figure out your temperatures. It may be that you need to exchange for different unit and see if that solves the problem.

I'm gonna move this to the HP forum so that you get more targeted help regarding the 6000 series.
