    What speakers are shipping with the dv1000 now?

    Anyone know what speakers are currently shipping with the dv1000 and what the quality is like compared to the earlier models? Ive heard they have chanded up the brand and that the earlier models sported very nice speakers.

    The older models came with Harmon Kardon speakers, the new ones come with Altec Lansing, I think the HK's are of better quality but the AL are pretty good compared to most laptop speakers. I don't really care much, laptop speakers aren't designed to sound good anyways.

    I got the DV4000 with the Altec Lansing speakers and they sound great, some of the best I've ever heard.
