I would also love to know which stuffs you guys install from the SWsetup folder.

Anyone would care to give a guide/description of which is which and which does what?
Which ones should be installed to get a fully functional dv9500t (fingerprint; webcam; mic; blue buttons - quickplay, volume control, etc; working remote; lightscribe; etc..)

Or are these automatically detected by Vista?
Or could I just download and install all the drivers found at hp.com and install just them?

Go to each folder and open each .cva file on notepad. It will say what the driver is for.

I just did a clean install and installed the minimal drivers and i have full functionality with no issues. Ive heard of people having problems with downloading drivers from the Hp website

I didnt install ANY hp stuff.. (HP update, HP userguide, Wireless Assist, HP active support library). These are pretty much useless unless you dont know what your doing

There was an informational thread about 2 weeks ago at which drivers on the SWsetup are needed
