I want to upgrade the HDD when I buy one, and need to know the current drive specs, and the connector type.
I want to upgrade to a new 7200RPM drive, and want to know is the power consumption is the same or a tad more from the stock HDD. I read that the new gen 7200 RPMs draw the same amount of power as the older 5400RPM.

Also can anyone rec a good 250-320GB HDD? In a 7200RPM flavor, and maby 5400?

Its a regular 2.5" SATA notebook hard drive with a spindle speed of 5400rpm. A 7200rpm should work fine, power consumption shouldnt be to different although it might(in some cases) run a but warmer.
