    I've look through this 2 model and found that the spec is actually quite same, just want to know what's the difference?

    I'm pretty sure that the dv5-1070er is just a DV5T preconfigured model.

    dv5t is a base model. They will have any number of modifications/configurations within the DV5 series of laptops.

    Like with my compaq C700 series... there's probably over 100 different variations on it. c762nr, c751en, etc...

    izzit those started with dv5 ... all same model base on dv5t with preconfiguration? I'm new to HP and don't know how to differentiate their model. =(

    It is basically a preconfigured model. If you look at hp.com and customize it, then you get a dv5t CTO(custom to order).
