I'm looking at a dm4t here and I see there's miniPCI slot on the motherboard next to the WiFi card. I also noticed you can order the dm4t with a 32GB mSSD. Could I put any old mSATA drive in there, could I use it for WWAN or am I restricted to HP's mSSD drives? If I'm restricted to HP's drives, how does it work? Any illumination is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

OK, so I called HP sales to see what they had to say about it. They sent me over to tech support where they tried to tell me it's kind of like an internal SD card, which makes no sense to me. Has anyone ordered the dm4t with the mSSD and could perhaps shed some light on it?

Also for other dm4t users, is your fan always on too? I tried the BIOS setting and setting the power state to the lowest, but the fan is always audible. Has anyone come up with a fix for this? Thanks.
