I just read a review of the dv4t. But I went to Newegg for a deal, but got no exact result. The closest match was a dv4-1220us. What's the difference?
ALSO, what do the numbers represent? I'm thoroughly confused as to the difference between, say a 1220 and a 1225. When I see that happen, I try to find the difference, but can't find any. But the price is different. Please explain!
THANKS IN ADVANCE

I think t=INTEL CPU , z=AMD CPU , I could be wrong.

When you see a model number with a "t" such as a dv4 t that is a Intel model while dv4 z would be an AMD model. The models labeled "t" or "z" are CTO notebooks that are customized on hp.com the other models like dv4-1220us are pre-configured models which you will have to check on hp's product page to find the configuration specs. The different numbers like 1220us or 1280us just represent different pre-configuration specs nothing else. -
I have the DV9543CL
what does the CL stand for? -
The last two letters suppose to tell where the laptop could be sold at. not sure what CL would mean tho.
example of others are:
US: United States
CA: Canada
EU: Europe
The only reason they have that is competition/antitrust law. For example windows systems in Europe cant have Internet Explorer installed
What's the letter t mean in model names?
