The business class notebooks are fine and all, but I don't want Vista Business, I don't want that big a HDD, etc..

I just want to customize the nice Turion x2 ATI 1250/75 to my liking in the consumer products.

Damn the crappy dv2000 and 6000 lines.. are they just trying to clear out stock or what? The other chipsets exist, they're even being sold on HP's site.. what's the holdup? I want a laptop NOW, I've wanted it since october, and HP just does'nt want my money apparently (I'm going with HP because I hate dell, sony, and others are overpriced for what I want, and I have a line of credit at HP :) )

DELL...well, i had a dell notebook, inspiron 6400, and the product was good,,,but it was the other things associated with dell that i hated... you cannot pay you bill online, or even on the phone without talking to someone in india, that you cannot understand.. this is the big reason why i did not go with dell anymore...at least with hp, you can pay your bill on the phone with a few punches of the keys... not being on hold for an hour with dell. thats the problem with big companys, soon they loose perspective of what made them great, and dell is loosing that,...stockholder greed is what i call it, and shafting of american support
