it keeps saying coming since like 1 month ago hehe. COME!!!! Maybe you will be mine but I cant wait forever!!!

BTW mtylerj, if this laptop doesnt like me I would buy the inspiron 1520 exactly like yours, hehe nice to see that

I talked to a rep earlier in the week who said that it should be released on the 3rd and that you will be able to customize it. However, reps are terribly unreliable with these kinds of questions. I, like you, and many others probably share your frustration with the perpetual "coming soon" message.

 

There was another thread that put the date into September.... here's hoping that changed (and that the HD 2600 is worth the wait).

And AFAIK, it shouldn't be earlier than September in Europe...

I talked to a hp rep and he siad it would come out in Mid August. (Lets hope he was right)

Also the 8510w would start selling with a ATI card around the same time so maby it has something to do with ATI and the release of those Graphic cards.

 

I may jump ship on my T61p that I ordered if this comes out soon.

 

Oh, it also must be able to have XP as an option.

 

In my opinion since the 8510w has a xp option. I would think they would put that option for the 8510p as well.

 

hmm, didn't notice that option. Go figure, the xp option is the last one.

 

I am hoping they have a vista home edition option, as it is what I would want. Also hope this computer comes out soon at a reasonable price, and that its graphics card is a worthy competitor to the 8600gt. If it delivers in all 3...I am sold.

 

Since its a business computer I don't think Home edition will be a option. It will probably be Vista Business.

Hi all,

As you can see in one of the previous posts, some of the 8510p come with an ATI Mobility Radeon X2600 graphic card, and others come with an ATI Mobility Radeon X2600 HD graphic card

Since this is probably no mistake (because on their site HP has this exact specs for this different flavors, and usually this is not an innocent forget), can any of you tell me what is the difference between this 2 cards? (HD and Non HD)

I've been searching even in ATI site but they don't make any reference to tho Non HD version
