One of the features that attracts me to the HP Mini 2140 is the availability of a 1366x768 display (rather than 1024x576, which is standard- on the 2140 and on almost every other netbook available). But the higher resolution display just shows (Coming Soon) when I click on the Specs for the Mini 2140....
Does anyone know when the high-resolution display will actually be available for ordering on it?

I believe HP announced that it would be available late March 09.

Arg.... This can't come soon enough! I'm at a moment where I need to buy a new laptop right now and this netbook with the 1366x768 resolution would be PERFECT!

i just got off the phone with a business rep. off the record , he stated that due to problems with the graphics card and HD incompatibilities it might be a few MONTHS before HP sells the HD screen version. if that is true , Dell's upcoming mini 10 HD version could also be delayed. I for one will not wait.

I had the same question about the 2140's display yesterday and when I chatted with an HP rep she said the 2140 with the HD display would be available "probably in a few months". Basically there's no firm answer...

Just thought I'd share that I got the 2140 with the standard definition screen because I was too impatient to wait on the higher resolution screen. I'm very satisfied with it as is. If it turns out that the high resolution does come out and the price difference isn't too dramatic I'll just ebay this unit (or sell in the forums here) I suppose.

Reports say that the high def version was released April 6th, and it's listed as being available on the HP web site. Has anyone actually ordered???
When will the 1366x768 display be availabile on Mini 2140?
