I live in Canada, and I couldn't find an Envy 14 with 900p screen, so I decided to ask my uncle who is visiting the states to pick one up for me. Unfortunately he is only visiting, so ordering online from the HP website isn't really an option. Could someone tell off me any stores in Atlanta where I might be able to find an Envy 14 (with 900p please). Sorry for the offbeat request, since I live in Canada, I don't really know of any US stores.

This is off topic and irrelevant, but did they fix the issues with the original Envy 15 in the V.2 (does it still overheat, and is the battery life better?).

Once again, I'm sorry, but could i get a response quickly, my uncle is only there for a few days.

I don't think any stores in the US has the Envy14 in stock yet.

The only store where i have seen any Envy models at all during the past six months or so are Fry's electronics. I have only seen the Envy 13 and gen 1 envy 15 models at Fry's. I believe all the Best Buy stores in the US stopped carrying the Envy line in 2009.

The Envy 14's being sold at FutureShop have the 900p screen. I bought one last weekend.

Isn't FutureShop in Canada only though?

Yep, Canada only. My response was more based on the initial comment that an Envy 14 with 900p screen couldn't be found in Canada. The FS website (and other retailers) lists the 14-1050CA as 1366x768 when it's actually 1600x900

Seriously? If that's true, I'm ordering one from there. How do I know if it has a 900p screen? Do, all the 14-1050CA's have 900p screens? Thanks for the help so far guys.

Um, I know b/c I bought one, purchased in store. Can't speak for what inventory they may have in the future, as it seems like HP US are starting to sell 1366x768 models, so they may end up here too.

FYI, they price matched the PC-Canada.com - Online shopping made easy! price of $1332.99

Oh, that's great, thanks for all the help. I'm a bit upset that it's an i5 430, and not an i5 450 , but w/e, the performance difference shouldn't be that great, I hope.
