I reinstall a window xp in my notebook, DV2000t follwing the direction in this forum.

Now, I want to back up new setting with recovery disc creator, but...
I couldn't find the program in the swsetup folder.

Isn't it possible to download or to find the program in the hp homepage or any other place?

Or, would you recommand me a back up program for SATA HDD and Bootable DVD?

The recovery disc creator works only with HP's stock windows installation and can only be used once. So, if you want to backup you will either have to use a third party backup utility or as you mentioned back up important files to an external hard drive or CD/DVD.
