I have a Presario v6110us. I have owned it for about 2 weeks and suddenly the other day my sound stoped working,I can no longer hear files played in media player nor can I hear anything streamed, i can still hear system sounds however. I get this message in media player when I try to play a file: "There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly" The device manager says that the Conextant audio device (I'm assuming that this is the sound card) is working properly. However, in the sound and audio devices properties window it says that I don't have an audio device. Also, I get a message saying that i don't have a mixer installed.

Help me bring my babay back to life, please.
