    I picked one up from Fry's. I don't think Fry's is on the east coast (they're a very large, electronics chain, with Walmart size stores)

    Just mentioning it because if Fry's has them, they should start to show up at other retailers.

    By the way, I picked mine up on Weds., and Fry's had them in the back storage area. Salesman said he was instructed NOT to put out a display dv2000 model, until they had sold out of the dv1000's...

    If you saw them side by side, you'd know why. MOST people will prefer the look and features of the newer model Pavilion.

    (I had called Fry's to see if they were in stock, that's the only reason I knew they had them. I had to ask the salesman to go to the back warehouse area, and bring one out for me to see)
