    Hi:

Since HP is offering Hi-Capacity 6 cell batteries for dv6000 / v3000 , which is reported to be 55WH compare to standard 43WH, which is about 28% increase.

But they are not offered on HP website separately as accessories and also cannot be found on eBay.

Anyone got idea where to buy it? I'm using standard battery and I think 12 cell is too heavy...

    Thanks

Give HP a call, maybe their phone reps can point you the way.

I'd also like to purchase a higher capacity standard battery.

My DV6000t that is on order is coming tomorrow has one but according to HP the extended 6 cell is only a 16% increase.

It's better to order 2 ordinary batteries. There is no much difference between ordinary and hi-cap battery.

Your probably right because I paid a extra 29.95 for the extended and I didn't realize that it was only 16% more till after I had finished the order, but on a upside the extra 20-30 mins might be worth the extra 30 bucks since a battery can last for 2-3 years so that would only be a extra 10 dollars a year if you figure it that way.

BTW if I had it to do over I would of gotten the 12 cell after reading on here that the standard 6 cells are only lasting around a couple hours.
