    Where to buy Hp nc8430 ?

    Hi,

    Could you advise me where to buy HP nc8430 from ? Maybe you recommend other stores ? Any comments about these two ?

    For now, I only know:

    - HP.com - EY688AA#ABA is 1749 $ + 106 $ Tax + 16$ Shipping fee - 1871 $
    - costcentral.com - EY688AA#ABA is 1615 $ + no tax (tax only applies to CA and PA) + free shipping

    I'm really unhappy from the fact that costco.com don't sell bussiness HP notebooks :( Do you know good online stores with a good replacement/return policy ? I want to be able to get a replacement when my notebook has some kind of issues without additional fee.

    Does it matter where you buy it from? Isn't the warranty and service performed by HP and not by the reseller?

    That $1619 price is good. My cost is $1591.59. There is a $35 spiff on it too.

    But is costcentral.com a reliable reseller ? I used nextag http://www.nextag.com to check the rating of the companies and the prices of nc8430, I also did some research on BBB http://www.labbb.org

    There are big differences between the prices so with the quality of the reseller services like shipping, stock availablity, etc. I prefer to pay more for the notebook but get it in a 2-3 days. Not to wait 2-3 weeks as some customers had to in a few cases in compu-america.com.

    Well, yes that's true but there are some differeneces in polices : replacement, return, refund. f.e you can always return a notebook to hp when bought directly from hp.com with no restocking fee in 21 days whenever you are not satisfied with the build. In reseller case you cannot send it back when notebook is functioning properly. You will get a refund but with 15% money loss. It has been always a matter of price/service :/

    Yes warranty service is always provided by the manufacturer and not the retailer.

    Yea but only in case of hardware malfunction not when you change your mind and you don't want it anymore or just not like it.

    Anyway, could you guys please post your experience with the retailers and advice me what company to use ?
