    The nubbin on my NC8000 has worn off. Where can I get a replacement for it ?
    The thinkpads have cheap nubbins on ebay, I've not bee able to find corresponding ones for NC8000

    They sell a pack of 20 of them on the HP parts store. Unfortunately, the price is ~$53.00 :(

    That HP rep is completely useless....

    You can buy point stick caps in a pack of 20. The part number is 404150-001.

    You can actually use some of the Thinkpad caps but you may have to wrap a thin layer of either electrical tape or teflon tape around the post (so the cap doesn't slip off)

    Isnt there much demand for HP trackcaps ? I see thinkpad caps available form many places, but not HP trackcaps.
