    Where's the Best Place to get a 12 Cell Battery for a DV6000?

    I've did a search on google and only found 2 good places which are walmart and bestbuy both about $150 after shipping and tax.

    Does anybody else know somewhere better?

    Try www.newegg.com; I wouldn't go with eBay because you don't know (1) how old it is and (2) if it is a third party battery...which is bad.

    AFAIK though, the price of the battery is basically decided by HP...good luck finding one for less but you probably won't see a new one for less than $140.

    Considering HP is currently charging 170+ sans tax, take the 150 and run like hell.

    The best way is when you buy a new dv6000 to replace the 6 cell with the 12 cell for only $39.00

    That is what I'm doing. :)
