Title says it, I have several laptop hard disks and about to pick up the envy 17 off amazon and wasn't sure which 750gb drive comes with it. Need to know how it benchmarks compared to the drives I have already. I currently have the following drives in my dv9500: a Seagate 7200.4 500gb drive for data and a 7200.2 120gb for boot. I'm considering a momentus XT to boot from on the Envy.
Thanks in Advance!

Star Forge Quaggan's Creed Redux!
It could anything from Seagate Momentus to Toshiba's. I do know the XT is not an option or is part of the regular 750 GB HDD selection.

I don't know what brand it is... however I know it's a 5200rpm drive unfortunately.... Which is why I held off buying it from Newegg when it was $1300... Didn't make sense to me to have all this high powered hardware and a slow HD...

I read through the service manual, it's a 12.5mm drive, leading me to believe that it's a WD Scorpio Blue 750gb, which benchmarks way lower than my Seagate 500gb 7200.4. Looks like i'll be using the seagate as a boot drive and perhaps the WD as a data drive if it proves fast enough for me.
Which 750gb drive does the Envy 17-1181nr come with?
