    Which CPU For Webcam & Aps?

    Will the T2060 and T2250 operate the 1.3 MP Webcam as good as the T5600? Will the T2060 and T2250 open applications such as Word as quickly as the T5600?

    They both ofcourse will run the webcam just fine and each should open Word pretty quickly. Being that each are dual core they will be pretty quick there will be a difference when running CPU intensive programs such as games and photoshop and whatnot but for those programs you won't notice much of a difference at all.

    Both of your requirements are very non cpu intensive, so pretty much any recent cpu will have the power to open them. Other things such as ram and HDD speed will matter much more in the time it takes to open them.

    Where you WILL see a difference in those cpus are very cpu intensive tasks, such as heavy gaming, rendering etc.

    Thanks very much! This notebook will not be for gaming. Opening applications rapidly, high speed Internet with many pages open and usage of the web cam.

    then if u wanna open lots of programs at the same time then wat u need is alot of ram, 2gb shud be more than enuff. any of those cpus + lots of RAM and hard drive space is what u need, so if ur on a budget sacrifice the graphics card if u want for more of those things.
