I was looking to get the Lenovo T61, but after all the delays experienced by those who ordered the T61, i decided go for a HP/Compaq.
I own a Compaq, a very old Compaq Presario EVO N1000v. It is still working, no problems whatever...very happy with it. However i'm using it only for word processing nowadays since it's already so outdated and slow and heavy.
My budget is similar to the price tag of a T61.
Kindly advise.
Thank you.

depends on if u want a portable one that u can use on a plane and tote around in a bag or a desktop replacement with dedicated graphics. You also might want to check out these Dell Precision business notebooks. I've worked with the 15.4" M65 and it's excellent overall.

hi, a good alternative for the t61 is the 6910p. theyre both business class notebooks, 14.1 widescreen, santa rosa platform, and around 1inch thick.

Thank you for the reply. I am from Malaysia, so the series numbers might be a lil different.
Yeap, saw the 6910p.
