    Which Models Support QuickPlay?

    Is it only HP's that support QuickPlay or can you get it on a Compaq?

    Nope, no Compaq model has this feature, only the HP DV1000, DV4000 and DV8000 have it, sorry.

    I think some people have tried to install it on a Compaq but it didn't work.

    I tried quickplay on my compaq v2110, it says the system ID is not supported.

    But quickplay is a separate partition on the harddrive, approx 300mb. I wonder if I could copy this instead ..
