I am looking for a company who has superior screen quality: color, brightness and sharpenss. I understand that with some notebooks you can buy higher resolution screens. However, not every screen is the same under these conditions. Meaning, notebook A and notebook B could be identical in screen setting resolution (i.e., 1200x800), but notebook A could still look sharper. I am note referring to anything with briteview or Xbrite or Crystalview, just the TFT screens. Which brands do you all recommend with top quality screens: Sager/Asus/Acer/Dell/HP/Alienware/Sony/Toshiba/IBM/Fujitsu and etc...

Personally, I'd say that the HP screens are probably the brightest and sharpest standard LCD's out there. This is of course not including any of the "enhanced" LCD's (TruBrite, Brightview, etc...). I've gone to Best Buy and looked at the notebooks setup side by side and I liked the HP's more.
