I'm looking at buying either the ze5615sr-b or the ze5575sr does anyone have any idea on which ati chipset is in these? I've found out that it looks like the radeon 7500 is in the ze5615sr-b but nothing on the 5575 and the HP site is unhelpful as usual.

GS,
The ZE5575SR has an ATI integrated graphic controller.
Here's a link to the info you needed:

yeah...i saw that...the problem is that they don't tell ya "which" igp it is...as far as i can tell ATi makes igp's in everything from Radeon 7500 to the Radeon 9600 Pro. Which are these?

GS,
The ZE5575SR has an integrated graphics controller (what ATI calls IGP), which means it doesn't have a separate/independent video card. The integrated graphics controller relies on system memory (shared).
The ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 is an actual video card and has dedicated/discrete memory.
The ZE5575SR has no video card (not the 7500, 9000, 9200, 9600, or 9700). It just has an ATI IGP.
If you want to play the latest games at good detail levels and speed, you'll need the 9600/9700 or their Nvidia counterparts. You must steer clear of the 7500 or any IGP solutions.
Hope this helps. If it doesn't, don't hesitate to let me know. -

Can anyone help me out with a few of the ze5615sr specs not mentioned here?
1) What are the respective speeds of the CD and DVD drives?
2) How many emory slots sre there, and for what size chip(s)?
3) Aside from the audio/video, USB, and parallel ports, does it have any other ports?
I found out that a store in my area has this model in stock, as part of a notebook/printer bundle, so any information would be greatly appreciated.
