    It's IDE, so you need an ATA-6 or ATA-7 drive......

    What is ATA-6 or ATA-7 drive means?I can only find ATA-100,ATA-133,SCSI and SATA harddrives (2.5").What is this ATA-7 or Hitachi have product like this?

    ATA-6 is the laptop interface spec for ATA-100, and ATA-7 is ATA-133. An ATA-7 drive will run in ATA-6 mode if the notebook's IDE controller does not support the former.
