    I think Compaq offers the same quality computers as HP but prices them lower. But I like the look of HP's laptops more.

    I like the value of HP over Compaq, personally. We are currently running Dells for our DINPACS stations. Our "office computers" are Gateways. In the next few years when I purchase a set of new computers for my department, I will probably go with HP or Dell.
