The g6-1c58CA uses a second-generation Intel Core i5 processor. Get this notebook if you can. You can always upgrade to more memory (RAM) later for a VERY minimal price.

The g6-1c75CA uses a first-generation Intel Core i3 processor. I wouldn't prefer this one especially if the g6-1c58CA is being offered at the same price.

The "2" in Core i5- 2430M indicates that it is a second-generation Intel Core processor (based on the Sandy Bridge microarchitecture).

The integrated graphic in 2nd-gen Core-i is better too.
