    Definately go w/ the compaq..TRUST ME on this one.Celeron is VeryVery slow compared to P4.Go w/ the compaq.But you really should get one w/ a dedicated GPU.Its so funny how they say"whopping 128MB of shared video memory".If you are going to be doing any type of gaming get dedicated graphics.Hope i helped

    To figure out which one is best for you you should answer the questions in this FAQ and post the answers here so we can help you. zeanimal2001 said that the celeron M was very very slow...not really true as it depends on what your going to use the notebook for.Many wise and money wise people buy the celeron M because it does what they need. To buy the fastest processor there is for the use of surfing the net, writing emails and running office related applications is just a waste of processing power and money. Unless your a big gamer, running 3D modeling sofware, software simulations or CPU intensive mathematics; then the celeron M is still much more horsepower than is needed to quickly get the job done.
