hp owns compaq, it's the same exact computer. also what are we polling about? the better computer? zd8000... what we got? huh?
-
of those 3 the zd8000, but what are you planning on using it for?

What are you going to use this laptop for? If you're going to do some gaming, forget the zv6000. You can get better a laptop (like the Fujitsu N3510) for nearly the same price. Unlike what some might want you to believe, the Xpress 200M on the zv6000 isn't quite on par with the Mobility Radeon X300 on the Fujitsu. If you insist on getting an HP though, out of the three, the zd8000 is obviously the best choice. Better screen, better graphics, better speakers, em... better EVERYTHING. [

Two words says it all:
PLANNED OBSeLESENCE -
You might also want to consider the Gateway M680 or M460 if graphics is a priority.
The zd8000 is basically a bigger, hotter running, shorter battery life, better graphics version of the zv6000.
The Dell 6000 with the x300 is a decent system too, cooler, good battery life, but graphics are still not that great.
The Fujitsu notebooks that were mentioned have excellent screens, but the price is nowhere near the zv6000 for comparable specs. -
