Hi all, I recently had my house broken into and they took my (quite old but very good) Hp pavillion ZX5000 laptop!
The insurance company have agreed to replace it with something of the same spec but obviously the laptop stolen was great spec in its day but not so great these days!
Need some advice on what to accept or decline from insurers with regards to a replacement.
I paid around £700 for it about 5-6 yrs ago.
Any help would be grateful as the insurance are ringing me back tomorrow.
Cheers Caroline

From what I can look up it was a 15.6" with a good solid processor back in the day. I would see if they would work with you on the HP Pavilion dv6t series It comes with a i3 or i5 CPU, 4-8 GB of RAM, switchable Intel and ATI graphics, a 320 GB hard drive, and of course Windows 7 64 bit. I would say that this would be very comparable to what you had before only more up to date and is in the same price range.
Here's a link to show your agent and good luck to you. I would hate to have someone steal my HP's!!!
