    8400GS

    = Windows Experience Index 4.0 Score.
    My lowest score was of course the Gaming score but this is on stock drivers. That is a .5 increase from my 3.5 on the same setup with the T7500 (DV2500T).

    So far so good. :D

    hmmm...i am looking at a similar model...what are your other scores? even on my previous xps 1330, i got a wei of 4.1..t7300 processor, 2 gb ram and same hard disk and graphics card....perhaps it was the graphics driver.

    I'd be curiuos to see 3DMark06 also. I have similar machine on order although I need to bump up memory to meet OP's specs.

    Wow this 8400gs is a dog....I just ran my 3dMARK06 and ended up with a 3DMark Score 1759 3DMarks

    I have a T7500 too but my system got a WEI of 4.8 My RAM is the weakest link, may be its running at just 677MHz.

    or WEI can be easily manipulated... if you know where to look, you can change a certain file to give you the numbers you want.

    I still don't understand why the heck people even mention the WEI. It's a useless tool created by Microsoft to force people who don't know jack about computers to buy hardware they don't need because they think their score is too low.

    So please people, stop creating posts about the WEI, because it is a complete and utter joke and disgraces the world of technology.

    P.S. Flipfire is 100% right on how the WEI is calculated.
