As the title says my question is " WHY are produced few big screen laptops when there are a lot of people that wants big screen laptops"?

I myself am one of those who do not like the small screen laptop but still it produced a lot of small screen laptop as we see. I myself looking for a big screen laptop, but wherever I have checked, it is most 13-15 inch screen laptop and very few 17-18 inch screen laptops.
I am aware that the small screen laptop is mostly for those for example as businessmen, but that's just some percentage of people who are included in this category. Thanks for answer!

Because most people buy laptops for their portability so they can take it with them on business, holidays or just generally be able to move it from room to room at home.
The majority of people that want a large screen will buy a desktop. What's the point of spending double on a huge clunky laptop that is so heavy and large you wouldn't want to put it onto your lap?

You are part of a niche market.

"Most" people get a laptop for portability and the bigger they are the more of a PITA it is to haul them around... hence the term "mainstream" for the 15" as it seems to be about the size limit most are willing to lug around. Businesses cater to the masses and worry about the fringe markets later. A few years back I thought I'd never see an 18" laptop catch on since it was considered stupid to get an underpowered expensive laptop when a cheap (relatively speaking) desktop would blow it out of the water. The "semi-portable" desktop replacements have a growing market though, so the companies are starting to capitalize on it as well.

Big screen laptops are usually to replace a desktop or use it as a primary system. Laptops are for portability and carrying a 17" or 18" laptop will bog you down. Travelling with a big screen laptop can be a pain and it won't fit in an airline tray if you want to watch a movie (first class is an exception). The screen might be nice but the battery will not last as long. There has to be compromises. 17" or bigger screen is not meant to be in your lap!

The reason is that there aren't a lot of people that want them. Most people buy laptops for travel and portability, and don't really want to deal with a 17-18 inch machine.

It's the market that drives this. There's only about 6-7% that buy these laptops so manufacturers are just adjusting to demand. Like everyone has said, the majority get laptops for portability. And although 17/18" laptops are portable, they're not very convenient.
