I believe my 2700t is underperforming. It has the T7500, and 8400 GS, with 2 gigs ram.

I removed the HP bloatware, and I have AVAST as my anti virus.

Using Wprime, I'm getting 68 seconds.

    3dMark05 - 3488.

    About to run Pcmark.

Which version of wPrime are you using? Version 1.60 is highly inaccurate....

The wprime is way off, make sure that the cpu is running at full power.

The 3dm05 score seems right on par, once again make sure all ur components (gpu and cpu) are running full power and not being downclocked.

Maybe you accidentaly hit Power Saver mode from High Performance mode. Happens to me ALL the time. Specially on my SLI rig.

when you say removed the bloatware do you mean you uninstalled it or did a clean install of your os? i don't know if it would make that much of a differences in benchmarks, but after i did a clean install i really felt my laptop had gotten faster.

    It's set to high performance.
What's slowing this thing down???? I should be getting about double the Pcmark score.

this is what the wprime console is saying, why does it say the clock is 1197?

you should do a clean install because your probably in vista's "hp recommended" power plan.

Ok I'll try that. How do I ensure that all the drivers and stuff work?

Use CPU-z and double check your clock speeds. It should say approx. 2194mhz
