    Why is my new r4225 showing up as r4100 in bios???

    Does anybody know why my new lappy's showing up as r4100 in bios.

    I bought my new r4225ca for 1299CA. was it too expensive??

    Nothing to worry about. The R4100 is the product number for the laptop where as the r4225ca is the model number.

    The price is not too bad given the specifications.

    The entire R4000 series shares the same BIOS. R4225CA merely designates a specific configuration (which CPU, HD, etc) sold in Canada.
