    Short answer: Yes. Will even run GTAIV with decent settings (heck, my dv9000 does too).

    @OP I would say that you should be able to at least run most new games

    yes it will run SC2 smoothly

    even a M11X ( with the c2d SU7300 ) runs it well above 35 fps

    and MMORPGS usually dont eat up your graphics, so the 5650 + N830 is way more than capable

    you can even play BFBC in high if you want to

    I can run SC2 with at 30+ fps on 1280x900 on medium settings with my setup which isn't all that different from yours.
