if I'm coming from an Asus W2V? I spilled soda on my laptop, need to replace it soon.

What's the build quality, keyboard feel, overall durability, like on HP's business notebooks?

I am typing from a NC8430 right now and it is a very nice keyboard. My only disappointment is it doesn't have a express card slot. I could get the advanced docking station with the express slot but that's really not the portable answer. It's really hard to find a laptop that has EVERYTHING you want in the exact perfect place. Example is as stellar of a laptop the 8430 is they IMO put the right hand side USB ports to close to the front so if you have something plugged in it's going to block the DVD drive.

I think if I could of took some things from the 5000 and some things from the 8430 I could of built the PERFECT notebook.
