I got a Analog/Digital TV card with my Vista DV6000t . It came with a large Media Center remote and USB IR receiver. I mostly use the mini remote with my laptop so I was thinking of converting an XP desktop PC to a HTPC and using the remote and IR receiver with that PC running XP Media Center Ed. Will this remote work with that or do I have to get drivers for it? Where do I find them? Currently if I plug the USB IR receiver into the XP PRO machine it can't find any drivers for it but I'm hoping that once I install XP Media Center Edition on that PC there will be drivers built in (windows) for the IR port and remote. Is this correct or am I SOL using this remote for anything but my laptop?

I believe that the Windows XP Media Center remote works will all media center s...desktop or notebook, as long as you have the IR receiver so it can communicate.
