    I have practically the same system and it'll run SC2 at native resolution smoothly with everything set to low and textures set to ultra. There are two issues with the 5650 (likely software/driver related) that'll kill the fps during gameplay.

    1) Some maps like Metalopolis have some sort of graphics effect that will kill the fps when you scroll over certain areas using anything other than low shaders

    2) Setting unit models to anything other than low will cause extreme amounts of slowdowns when playing as Protoss. Something about the Pylon energy grid graphics causes the fps to come to a crawl.

    These issues have existed since the game was released and it doesn't seem like neither Blizzard or AMD/ATI are going to fix it anytime soon. :(
