Will my DV5T take an SSD? will it accept it or will it just not work?

What plug does my DV5T use? also, what size SSD should I get? 1.8", 2.5"?

If it does, can anyone recoomend me one with value for money? In canada

Yes it works fine. 2.5". I have one (OCZ Vertex) in my DV5. I also have a optical bay HDD caddy which now has a 500GB WD Black 7200RPM drive.

Exact model of the HDD optical bay: NEW Sata 2nd HDD Caddy Adapter IBM Thinkpad R400 DV16 - eBay (item 250710608227 end time Feb-09-11 18:25:57 PST)

You can also see pics of my install here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/har...e-using-optical-bay-caddy-36.html#post7025244

Note that the faceplate from the optical can be transferred to the optical caddy.
