I had my faulty dv6000 replaced with a dv2000 directly from HP. Since I didn't "buy" the dv2000 I can can't request the upgrade. I already tried but since I don't have a receipt for it I couldn't do it. Sent the packing list but it didn't work. I still had the receipt for the dv6000 so I tried it and the order went though. When I get it can I upgrade to Vista on my dv2000?

Emailed HP about the issue to see if they could help, got an answer after 7 days were they said they would call me in the next 48 hrs. It's been a week and I haven't heard from them. They must be really busy with the Vista upgrade or something.

HP is flat out with the Vista upgrade with conflicts/drivers/bugs/issues as basically every other company except Apple obviously.

    It should work.
