    Hi folks,

got vista on my hp tablet and its rubbish, do the vista drivers supplied on the hp site work, without hassle, on a windows 7 install?

are there any problems with 32bit or 64bit in particular?

i'm not technical, so hacking drivers and ini files is not an option, just need to know if it work first time, full stop.

    thanks

Yes it works but you may have to hunt down some of the drivers. But out of the box, most things work.

As to what drivers you will ave to hunt down, I don't recall exactly. But it was 2 or three of them. But they aren't difficult to hunt down nor is there any driver mods required.

thank you for the info, any clues as to where one might most profitably search for the drivers? :)

Depends on what driver it is. What I usually do is to go into device manger, right click device for its properties, hit the details tab, then in the dropdown box, select hardware IDs. I use that code in google to hunt down the driver.
